Job Title: Infrastructure Portfolio Manager; Senior Associate / Vice President Position Type: Full Time, Salary Company Overview Founded in 1987, the National Pension Service (NPS) is a public pension fund authorised to manage the funds collected under the National Pension Act of Korea, with over US$575 billion AUM. NPS¡¯s Fund Management is responsible for growing the cumulative assets of the fund and employs over 323 staff across the headquarters and three overseas offices. The Challenge NPS is currently seeking to expand its infrastructure investment functions based in New York with the addition of an experienced candidate (s) at Senior Associate to Vice President level to the New York office. The successful candidate will be tasked with covering global alternative Investment markets. Job Description •Conduct research on infrastructure/energy market, related fund market, transaction activities, etc. •Identify and screen potential infrastructure/energy investment opportunities primarily in the US, Canada and Latin America •Conduct preliminary review, assessment, financial analysis and due diligence for fund and direct investments •Write due diligence and asset management reports, and prepare materials in relation to investment activities as required from time to time •Lead negotiation of terms and closing documentations •Monitoring of existing portfolio investments •Establish local/global network with peer investors •Ad hoc support for requests from the NPS headquarters Requirements/Qualifications No visa sponsorship is available for this position. •3 or more years working experience in infrastructure/energy investment and/or other relevant field in the US •Understanding of infrastructure portfolio management, characteristics of the transactions and corresponding strategies, etc. •Knowledge of financial modelling and projection •Communication skill within multi-location organization is preferred
